What is it?

This is the time of day called “Happy ½ Hour” at 3:30PM where we will be giving away prizes. We have over $2000 of prizes to be won including a Grand Prize of 26” LCD TV/DVD Combo!

 

How do you win?

Simple … For every seminar you attend; you will be given ONE ticket. Additionally, when you arrive for the first seminar at 10:30am, you will receive 5 tickets. After attending all the seminars you will have 9 tickets for chances to win prizes at the Happy ½ Hour portion of the Tech Fair.

 

Also, answer the “On the Spot” question and receive 1 more ticket.

 

You can potentially earn 10 TICKETS through out the day.

How do you win?

Simple … For every seminar you attend; you will be given ONE ticket. During the Happy ½ Hour portion of the Tech Fair; present your tickets and we will DOUBLE them increasing your chances to WIN!!!

 

Also, answer the “On the Spot” question and receive THREE more tickets.

 

You can potentially earn 25 TICKETS through out the day.

PARKING VALIDATION

 

Arrive by 10:30AM and qualify for parking validation at Parkade Level P2/P3 Only (http://www.yvr.ca/guide/parking/parking_map.asp). Limit to first 75 attendees.

 

Parking information: Keep left on the Main INTL (USA) Departures ramp and adhere to signage for the type of parking required. Inside the Terminal, find level 3, International Departures. Access to The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is just past the USA/International Departure check-in Counters, where it is recognizable by the glass walkway above. Go up one floor via stairs, escalator or elevator, cross the glass walkway to the hotel lobby.

Is Business Continuity Important?

Good news for our Vancouver-area resellers, we can finally announce the location for Connex in your region.  We’ll be taking over a good part of the Fairmont Vancouver Airport, a beautiful venue centrally located at the Vancouver Airport on the edge of Richmond.  We’ll confirm an agenda and timeline shortly but we’ve already sourced some great content including keynotes by Cisco Systems; a Unifed Communications Skills Training Camp; solutions seminars with our Networking, Server, and Storage vendors; and let’s not forget some great food, networking, and prizes to end the night.  Connex arrives Thursday, September 11th -  click here to register or for more information.

On behalf of the Connex team – Azhar, Elio, Sueanne, and myself – allow me to welcome you all to the Connex blog.  What is Connex, you ask?  It’s Ingram Micro’s premier multi-technology event of the year, visiting three cities in the coming months.  We’ve worked long and hard and taken all your feedback over the past year to build a show that provides what you want; an evening of networking and face-time with vendors, all alongside some great food, drink, and prizing.  For those of you interested in learning more about specifics of technology and solutions we’ve even got some brief and optional afternoon seminars featuring the vendor heayvweights of the IT industry.  Keep us bookmarked as we continue to keep you updated on the event, and feel free to pre-register through the links in each Connex city’s area to hold your spot.
